My research examines the relationships between health, technology, and culture. I employ an intersectional, feminist lens in my scholarship, whether I am writing about media representations, health technologies, or other subject matter.

My first book, published by the University of Minnesota Press and titled Therapy Tech: The Digital Transformation of Mental Healthcare, is now available for purchase. You can learn more about the book here.

My other research has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals and popular formats, including Feminist Media Studies, Screen Bodies, and Sexuality & Culture.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors.
